I am proud and privileged to be the Principal of a school with a long and successful history, supported by an enthusiastic community of families and an experienced and knowledgeable staff.

I hope that as you browse through these pages, you will gain some understanding of our school, the programs and supports we provide, and the wonderful ‘extras’ that our staff and families offer to ensure our students have a great primary schooling experience.

I believe every child can reach their future potential with the support of caring, positive and knowledgeable adults, focused on academic, social and emotional teaching and learning. I ensure staff are up-to-date in delivering the Western Australian Curriculum using collaborative planning, evidence-based practice and whole-school programs. Staff differentiate programs to meet each child’s individual needs, while implementing positive supports to ensure students demonstrate expected behaviours.

I welcome parents as partners in their children’s education with regular communication, participation, and opportunities for parents to upskill, so that they can better support their child’s learning at home.

I am committed to leading Palmyra students through our core school values: Respect, Responsibility and Be Your Best, and strive to support students in understanding and applying these values in everyday life.
