Year 2 Shipwreck Museum ExcursionYear 2 Shipwreck Museum Excursion30 October 2024 The students will be travelling to the Shipwreck Museum by bus with seatbelts. The bus will depart Palmyra Primary School at 9.30am and will return at 2:00pm. Date: Wednesday 30 October 2024 Time: 9.30am bus departs Venue: Shipwreck Museum, Fremantle Educational Purpose: This trip is part of our History unit, Technology Over Time. Our students will sail through time and explore the past, examining objects from a historical "shipwreck" and finding remnants from bygone years. Students will discuss why and how some objects and technologies have changed over time, and how these changes have affected the way we live. Supervisory Team: Class teachers and EAs Items Required: A packed recess and lunch, enclosed footwear, hat and water bottle all clearly labelled with your child's name. Kindy & PP: 5pm - 5.50pm The P+C invites you to bust out your best dance moves at the junior school DISCO! There will be a DJ on the night to crank some music and play some fun games. Come along and have a boogie! When: Friday Nov 8th Where: Palmyra undercover area Time: - Kindy + PP: 5-5:50pm - Year 1 + 2: 6:05-7pm Wear: Your best disco clothes! Cost: $5 per child. The presenter will tell the story of the Littlest Christmas Tree. Supervisory Team: Class teachers and EAs 7:00 pm: P&C Meeting7:00 pm: P&C Meeting – The P&C is an important organisation in the school. It provides an opportunity for parents to participate and be involved in the school, is a forum for parents to discuss issues and for gathering opinions. We also provide extra resources that may not otherwise be available to our students. It is a fantastic way to meet other Palmyra Parents, find out more about the school, and keep up to date on school issues. We always welcome new faces - whether you want to come along for a listen, or if you are looking to get involved in P&C Activities. P&C Meetings are held in the school library.
