How lucky are we! Mr Ingram has arranged for members of the Fremantle Dockers to visit our school. While we are not yet sure exactly which players will attend, we are expecting around six team members to join us from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Thursday, 11 June.

Here's what the afternoon will look like:

1. Whole School – Wear Your Dockers Gear!
Show your support for the Dockers by wearing your Fremantle Dockers gear to school. It might be a beanie, socks, scarf, jumper, or the full Dockers outfit! For this special occasion, we are celebrating the Dockers only. Students who are not wearing Dockers gear are expected to wear their school uniform.

2. Years 1–6 – Player Signings
Students in Years 1–6 are welcome to bring an item to be signed. During lunchtime, students can visit the undercover area where each player will have a signing table. Once an item has been signed, students may join another queue if time permits.

3. Years 1–6 – Meet & Greet and Q&A Session
Students will gather in the undercover area for a meet and greet with the players, followed by a question-and-answer session. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about life as an AFL player and hear directly from the team.

4. Years 4–6 – Long Bomb Challenge
Students in Years 4–6 will have the opportunity to head to the oval, where the Dockers players will share some kicking tips, demonstrate their skills, and encourage students to have a go. No footy boots for this one, thanks! You never know – they might spot a future Docker!

With more than 500 students and only a short visit, we understand that not everyone will have every opportunity they would like. While we would love to provide more time for everyone, we have chosen to prioritise some of the closer interactions for our older students.

We are incredibly grateful to Mr Ingram and the Fremantle Dockers for making this exciting visit possible and look forward to a fantastic afternoon.
